What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Support Supervisor position at Hillside?
We have an excellent opportunity for a Behavioral Support Supervisor to be an integral part of the treatment team, providing supervision and support to the Teaching Assistants and Behavioral Support Specialists.
Responsibilities:
- Work with staff; education, residential, clinical and administration in a manner which is beneficial to the students.
- Maintain and coordinates on-going communication between educational, residential, administrative and clinical staff.
- Coach staff in proactive intervention techniques within the classroom and greater learning environment.
- The Supervisor - Behavioral Support functions as the charge person in the Support Room.
- Maintain and is responsible for student support data and all other necessary documentation.
- Assist staff in preparing students for a positive classroom re-entry.
- Directs and supports the implementation of CARE, PBIS and TCI.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree however; willing to accept equivalent of education and experience in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree
- 1 years of supervisory experience within a Human Services field
- Should have a valid driver’s license and meet agency driving standards
