What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinician III School Based position at Hillside?
We are offering a $4,000 Sign On Bonus for this position! We have an amazing opportunity for a Clinician III at our Crestwood Day Treatment location in Scottsville, NY. As a Hillside Clinician III, you will be responsible for the expert assessment and delivery of quality mental health care to the youth and families that we serve. You will work on a team, assessing a young person and their family's needs, while developing, evaluating and modifying the individual service plan in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary treatment team in partnership with the young person and their family. This position will serve as a senior level clinician who will also lead projects and provide supervision/mentoring of staff as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate ability to form diagnostic impression in order to effectively assess and treat children/youth and families
- Provide individual and group therapy, including structured and process groups, within a variety of settings, based on group/client needs and Clinician credentials
- Conduct team mentoring and clinical guidance, including clinical peer supervision and clinical consultation.
- Act as the primary contact for the service plan with the ability to expertly and succinctly communicate at all levels both verbally and in writing.
- Develop and update all required documentation in a timely manner.
- Oversee the clinical content of treatment/service plans as required (including monitoring, review and sign off)
- Assists the team in ensuring that clinical services are delivered in compliance with all regulations of funder organizations
- Maintains a link with Quality & Strategy and the Learning Institute to support continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or clinically related field
- 5 years of related experience
- Thorough knowledge of services provided, well developed advocacy skills, knowledge and understanding of payment processes for services
- Must have a valid and clean NYS driver’s license and meet Hillside driving policy
