We're looking for a Mental Health Therapist, working in the Healthcare Systems & Services industry in Pasadena, California, United States.
As a premier provider dedicated to healing children and young adults, strengthening families, and transforming communities through quality comprehensive services and advocacy, Hillsides is looking for a caring Mental Health Therapist in El Sereno, Baldwin Park, or Pasadena, CA. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will conduct home-based and on-site individual, conjoint, group family therapy sessions under supervision of the clinical supervisor.
While working with a multidisciplinary team as a Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for implementing program protocols and guarantees that procedures are consistent with protocols. You will be responsible for assessment, treatment, and follow-up and facilitate in a parenting group, or assigned group, on a rotation one evening a week.
With a flexible work schedule, you will gain extensive work experience as a clinician working with children & families. Through our robust training opportunities you will grow your skillset in Evidence Based Practices, Shared Core Practice Model & Trauma Informed Care
Employee Sign-on Bonus: $4000
Starting Salary Range:$66,560.00 - $75,560.00 per year, Bilingual stipend of $4,000 for application positions

- Therapist BBS $66,560
- Therapist BBS plus Bilingual $70,560
- Therapist BBS, Bilingual, plus Licensed $75,560
- Attention to detail to with documenting therapy sessions based upon DMH regulations.
- Commitment to attend training sessions and staff meetings with program/clinical supervisors.
- Ability to be on-call to program families.

Experience Required For Your Success
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Master's Degree in a Social Service-related field
- Registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and valid BBS number in good standing required
- Bilingual in Spanish, required
- Previous experience working with severely and emotionally disturbed children and community mental health required
- Working knowledge of DMH programming and contract requirements is strongly preferred
- Experience working with underrepresented and diverse communities preferred
- Valid California driver's license, driving record, and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrier TRAUMA INFORMED CARE (TIC) Hillsides practices Trauma Informed Care (TIC) principles which recognizes the signs, symptoms, and widespread impact of trauma; Employees are asked to comprehensively integrate knowledge of Trauma Informed Care into policies, procedures, and practices with the goal to prevent re-traumatization which promotes healing of families, youth, individuals, and communities.
