Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Housekeeping Manager to oversee our housekeeping operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and custodial services, with experience in managing and supervising cleaning staff.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise housekeeping staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure all rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to high standards
- Oversee inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to meet health and safety standards
- Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
Requirements:
- Proven experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or commercial cleaning setting
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills to effectively manage a team
- Knowledge of laundering techniques, cleaning products, and equipment
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of health and safety regulations related to housekeeping operations
