The Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for performing any combination of general / basic maintenance and cleaning duties to maintain school facilities in a clean, safe and orderly manner.
The Facilities / Maintenance Coordinator may perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, dusting, and removing trash, as well as routine maintenance and repair activities such as but not limited to assembling furniture, painting, pressure washing surfaces, replacing ceiling tile, changing filters, cleaning drains, changing light bulbs, and minor carpentry, plumbing, and concrete work.
The Facilities / Maintenance Coordinator may also perform duties including supporting special events by assisting with setting up tables and chairs and cleaning up after the event.
The Facilities / Maintenance Coordinator must be able to work in a cooperative way with the Facilities Department, as well as interact in a positive manner with all members of the faculty, staff and administration.
