Its location is unique: it’s the only hotel located directly on the Delaware River Waterfront at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia’s downtown. The Hilton Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing’s 350 well-appointed guest rooms and 24,000 square feet of meeting space offer an experience that is hard to match. The guest rooms are fitted with sleek work desks, along with 32” LCD televisions and wall-mounted, plug-n-play consoles for Wi-Fi internet access. Dark wood furnishings, leather lounge chairs, contemporary lighting and gorgeous bathrooms complete the newly renovated guest rooms, which also come with stunning city or river views. Overview:

  • Welcome and help guests throughout their stay. Ensure you are following service standards and operating procedures from the beginning to the end of each interaction.
  • Show guests our Whatever/Whenever service while they are with us, and connect with them to be able to personalize that service, creating memorable experiences.
  • Make sure everything sparkles, we all enjoy a clean environment.
  • You will be on rotating shifts. Weekends are busiest, as well as evening/nights, so expect to be on shift then.
  • Ensure you are well prepared for the shift ahead of you, as well as your colleagues after you.
  • Make sure you put the guests at the center of everything we do.
  • Transport luggage of guests to rooms and control the luggage area.
  • Guide guests to their rooms.
  • Be in the know:
You are the expert when it comes to the hotel and the city, and you know all the ins and outs on our hotel facilities and possibilities in and around the hotel.
  • Handle valet parking.
  • Deliver guest mail to their rooms.
  • On request, make bookings for guests in restaurants, flights, theater and all the places which are new and next.
  • Organize transport for guests, such as train, taxi or bus.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to work in a team environment is a must.
  • Pleasant and helpful personality.
  • Must be able to work a full shift standing and going back and forth to the valet lot and different areas of the hotel.
  • A strong desire to make an impact on other people
  • An outgoing and engaging personality
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
  • Must be available to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs multiple times and able to stand 8 hours per day
