The Room Attendant are responsible for timely & properly cleaning 16 guest rooms in an 8 hour shift based on Hilton Cleaning Standards.
Basic Examples of job duties:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, coffee ports, ice buckets, trays, telephones and floor surfaces using cloths, mops sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending and stooping.
Strip and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 40 lbs.
Change shower curtains, which will require extending arms overhead, bending and stooping.
Must respond quickly and efficiently to all guest requests.
Retrieve heavy cart, push to assigned rooms, and restock with supplies as needed. Keeps floor maid closets neat and secure.
Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, shelves closets, and telephones thoroughly.
Push and pull vacuum throughout entire room and empty trash.
Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guestroom.
Practices chemical safety rules and follows procedures for needles and other hazardous materials (use personal protective equipment as required).
Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion for room.
