The Multimedia Producer oversees multiple editorial and sponsored virtual projects utilizing a digital platform of solutions to meet the needs of world’s leading healthcare society, and ensure satisfaction of internal and external clients. This position manages the set-up, deployment, outputs, and post-production of both real-time and on-demand webinars/web conferences, podcasts, and other digital products. Under the direction of the Video Producer Manager, this role will drive the production and management of HIMSS sponsored and editorial webinars, podcasts, as well as digital and E-learning content. This is inclusive of the end-to-end process, from requirements definition through planning, presenter coordination, event execution, and performance tracking.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for ensuring that produced recording are of high-quality for use in educationally sound electronic media, appropriate for online or on-site presentation
- Collaborates with the staff across multiple departments in the selection, production, direction, and editing of visual and audio elements used in computer mediated learning environments
- Produces and edits digital video via Zoom or internal platform (Intrado, On24, etc…)
- Manages webinar registration setup and recordings and provides customer service delivery to a variety of inquiries and requests from members and attendees
- Train and support webinar platform speakers/users on intricacies with hosted platform
- Organizes project video assets to promote efficiency, economy, access and reuse of these valuable investments.
- Includes development and management of an organizational system to provide timely access to existing content and files.
- Provides and assists with the creation of technical documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Works directly with vendor(s) and internal tech teams to identify optimization and troubleshoot for technical difficulties.
- Additional HIMSS TV and other content production duties, including assisting with digital content production on HIMSS Media Editorial sites and email newsletters, as assigned.
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor’s Degree in communications, journalism, film/video, video production, marketing or another related field.
- Minimum two (2) years experience editing/producing webinar/multimedia content via Adobe Premier or similar software.
- Demonstrated strength in product management, program management, or product marketing.
- Experience managing webinar administration, pre-production, recordings, editing, and other post-production within a preset format, and familiarity with online conference platforms such as On24, WebEx, Intrado, Adobe Connect, etc.
- Experience working in a Content Management System (CMS) is a plus; Drupal preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication and relationship-building skills. Focus on educating others.
- Organize project video assets to promote efficiency, economy, access and reuse of these valuable investments. Includes management of organizational system to provide timely access to existing video content or files
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proactive in solving problems, detailed-oriented to support team in delivering digital events for a range of audience sizes and topics
- Strong customer service skills – both internally and externally
