Petroleum Construction Technician
Job Posting for Petroleum Construction Technician at Hinderliter Construction, Inc.
Hinderliter Constructions is a fast-paced and growing company. We are looking to hire a petroleum construction laborer to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform installation of underground storage tanks and piping
- Concrete installation
- Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects
- Operate light and heavy equipment such as hand tools, hand power tools, pumps, vacuums, generators, skid steers, backhoes, etc.
- Completion of work-related paperwork - time sheets, daily sheets, vehicle and equipment inspections, etc.
- Comply with OSHA safety standards and perform tasks safely (OSHA and HAZWOPER certification a plus)
Requirements:
- Must have valid driver's license (CDL a plus)
- Must pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Ability to travel to and from job sites
- Willing to work overtime
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting ability
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
