The Website Manager will oversee the development and maintenance of the combined company website. Content Management is at the direction of the marketing and executive management staff to be support the Freeman’s | Hindman brand.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with web developers and marketing team to ensure goals are met and merger integrations are sound
- Manage and update website content
- Ensure that all content is up to date and on brand with the company messaging
- Act as the point person for updating all Auction information
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and attract more visitors.
- Collaborate with other Freeman’s | Hindman departments to develop strategies for reaching and ensuring seamless client service
- Track website traffic, user engagement, and other relevant metrics using analytics tools
- Liaise between marketing department and Freeman’s | Hindman management
Online Sales responsibilities:
- Brief marketing department on upcoming sale, partner to develop a marketing strategy
- Ensure all sale property is photographed and inputted correctly into Gavelizer
- Outline sale requirements and specs and brief technology team to support as needed
- Troubleshoot, anticipate, and resolve potential problems
- Monitor interest in sale objects and respond to buyer requests for condition reports
- Report on sale performance, analyze results and recommend ways to improve future sales
- Refine and create processes and standards
- Other duties as assigned
Successful candidate will possess:
- Bachelor's Degree; Graduate degree preferred
- OR 3 years of experience in the auction industry
- Experience at a major auction house
- Knowledge of the auction market with working knowledge of website management
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team including ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong sense of professionalism; ability to project expertise and authority in field of
- Superior communication skills and presence
- Track record of successful client relationship management
- Exceptional organizational skills; superior teamwork and administrative skills
- Ability to learn new internal systems and program quickly
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Proven ability to deliver results
- Excellent client service, communication and administrative skills
- Attention to detail and process oriented
- Proficient in MS Office software; Outlook, Word, Excel
- Exceptional customer service skills
