Payroll Manager

Job Overview

The Payroll Manager is responsible for managing the company's payroll processes, ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on time, and complying with all relevant laws and regulations. This role involves overseeing the payroll team, maintaining payroll records, and working closely with other departments to streamline payroll processes. Must be able to be in-office.

Key Responsibilities

• Payroll Processing: Oversee and manage the payroll processing for all employees, including salaries, bonuses, benefits, and deductions. Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing on a bi-weekly/monthly basis. Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
• Team Management: Supervise, train, and support the payroll team. Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to ensure efficient workflow.
• System Management: Maintain and update payroll systems and software. Collaborate with IT and HR departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll systems with other company software.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to payroll processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for payroll operations.
• Employee Relations: Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and issues from employees.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
• Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, SAP).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
