What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control position at Hire Dynamics?
SUMMARY
To ensure all products being shipped meet or exceed the customer’s specifications. Communicate with customers where required. Keep management and customer service informed on any issues/concerns on a daily basis by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Perform and document random inspections on all production lines.
· Work with all shifts on any training needs for new and existing parts.
· Perform 1st piece inspection sign-offs on new parts
· Complete all ISIR’s and PPAP’s required by customer.
· Perform capability studies.
· Summarize data and chart trends.
· Complete nonconforming material reports (NCR) for all rejected material.
· Perform Root Cause Analysis for all rejected material.
· Create all COC’s as required by customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or general education degree(GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience. Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment is required for job consideration.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, work instructions. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak and communicate well with customers.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must be familiar with current software packages such as Micro soft Word and Excel
PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or Lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the work day. Proper lifting techniques required.
