Job Description:
The Client is seeking for an AWS Redshift DBA who will help with our Dataware house workload migration into AWS Redshift. This individual will have extensive, hands-on experience with database administration along with Query Tuning.
Experience:
- 8 to 10 years as a DBA that include Database & Query Performance Tuning
- Must have excellent Redshift experience along with DBA knowledge
- Optimizing and tuning the Redshift environment including Cluster, Database & SQL queries
- Good knowledge of analyzing explain plan and tune workloads to improve runtime
- Good knowledge of Workload Management within Redshift along with queue mgmt.
- Excellent understanding of the AWS architecture (RDS, S3)
- Redshift and Aurora Cluster & Database Administration support
- Knowledge of Data Replication, Data Sharing & Data Modelling including Logical and Physical data source
- Hands on experience with Python scripting & Automation
- Knowledge of ADFS and User Access management
- Knowledge of setting up Cloud Monitoring and Alert Metrics management
- Good to have Apache airflow experience
- Excellent communications and a Team player
- Good to have - AWS Certified Solution Architect

- Python: 1 year
- Scripting: 1 year

Salary: $78.00 per hour
