We are actively seeking dedicated Mental Health Workers to join our client, a prominent Hospital in Taunton, MA. As a Mental Health Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients attending a 90-day court-ordered program focused on Addiction Recovery. Patient Population Focus:
The ideal candidate will possess significant experience and expertise in Mental Health and Substance Abuse treatment. Your role will primarily involve working with clients facing addiction recovery within a court-ordered program. Emphasize your experience in mental health and substance abuse interventions, interventions, and support strategies throughout your resume.
Shifts:
- 1st Shift: 6:45 am - 3:15 pm, Weekends Required (two weekdays off each week)
- 2nd Shift: 2:45 pm - 11:15 pm, Weekends Required (two weekdays off each week)
- Training: 2 weeks, Morning Shift: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide rehabilitative mental health services focusing on addiction recovery and basic living skills.
- Implement interpersonal communication techniques and crisis assistance strategies.
- Accompany clients to appointments, offering support and advocacy.
- Assist clients in accessing and utilizing community resources to manage mental illness symptoms and substance abuse challenges.
- Co-facilitate group therapy sessions to address mental health and substance abuse issues.
- Support clients in transitioning to independent community living services.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of Mental Health and Case Management experience, with a strong emphasis on substance abuse and addiction recovery.
