Responsibilities

Perform and control the full audit cycle, including risk management and control management over operations' effectiveness, financial reliability, and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations

Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans

Obtain, analyze, and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts, etc.

Prepare and present reports that reflect the audit's results and document the process

Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings

Maintain open communication with management and the audit committee

Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management's interventions

Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding the sector's rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards

Requirements

Proven working experience in internal audit or related roles

Strong knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations

Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail

Sound independent judgment and decision-making abilities

Proficiency in MS Office and audit software

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Relevant degree in accounting, finance, or related field

Salary: $100K/yr - $125K/yr, negotiable

The annual salary target for this job in this market is $75,000 - $90,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the market demand, education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
