Our client is looking for fun, passionate, and experienced full-time teachers to join the Infant and Toddler classrooms at their premier preschool in Westford, MA. This school is considering a new 4-day work week model that will include four, 10-hour shifts with an extra day off every week to help you maintain a work/life balance! If put into place, the extra day off will be at the school's discretion based on operating needs.

Job Responsibilities:

· Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, effectively and professionally with school personnel, children, and parents

· Ability to understand and support the education program using “learning through play” philosophy

· Ability to keep children within sight and sound supervision at all times

· Ability to change children’s diapers and/or assist with toileting (where necessary)

· Ability to lift items/children ~50 pounds

· Ability to multitask in a lively environment and work well within a team

· Ability to handle crisis situations, including assisting in evacuating the building during emergencies

Qualifications:

· CDA, AA, or BA in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Elementary Education, Child Development, or related field preferred however not required

· A desire to become certified with financial assistance offered by the school if not already certified

· A year of experience in a licensed ECE facility preferred

· A desire to work with children

· Meet background check eligibility

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
