Hire Up Staffing and Healthcare is seeking Payroll Coordinator for one of our healthcare clients. This is an on site position, 26 week assignmentwith the possibility of being extended or hired on permanently.
Schedule : Days, 36-40 Hours. 26 Week Assignment.
Pay : $21.00
Job Summary :
Performs functions and assignments associated with the computation, production, and distribution of all organizational employee payroll checks, records, and data.
Coordinates small program(s) with limited budget / impact. Assigns resources, monitors work, develops and administers schedules, and oversees achievement of performance requirements.
Essential Functions :
Oversees the processing new hires, terminations, tax exemptions, and other data into payroll system, including the review and auditing of information entered by human resources.
Reviews and audits employees timecard records in the electronic Time & Attendance System (API).
Transmits payroll records electronically to the bank to affect fund transfer to employee accounts. Monitors, produces and distributes by-weekly reports of hours and earnings.
Distributes payroll reports as needed. Processes employment verifications. Processes, reconciles, and issues W-2's at year end.
Monitors the answering of employee inquiries concerning payroll deductions, check amounts, other outstanding balances, and any other payroll concern.
Maintains and processes deductions and transmittals for garnishments, disability, worker's compensation, and retirement accounts.
Ensures all required payroll tax deposits are calculated and transmitted for IRS and State requirements Bi-weekly, Quarterly and Yearly.
Completes required State and Federal Payroll reports with the exception of Payroll Tax reports.
