What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Manager position at HireConnex LLC?
A Field Manager is responsible for delivering a quality project timely while keeping it in or under budget. Has the ability to function autonomously, working independent of a support staff, in a fast-paced environment; ability to manage changing priorities. Can read and interpret construction plans / blueprints to relay information to the installation crews they manage. The Field Manager will have goals presented and tracked using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). He/she will be assigned Annual Company, Department, and quarterly priorities.
The Field Managers main goals are: 1) Visit project sites at minimum 2-3 times 2) Quality Control subcontractors and installations 3) Create and send pick tickets, labor tickets and plans to the warehouse timely 4) Help Prepare Change Orders for additional floor prep or other conditions outside of normal scope of the project.
The ideal candidate has 5 years of experience managing projects in flooring and/or construction industry managing infrastructure projects (up to thirty projects or more at one time across multiple states/provinces) and demonstrates a bias to action, logical problem solving, and mastery of a project’s tactical details. They are computer savvy and has experience with the Microsoft Suite of programs. He/she must be a team player, must communicate clearly and often, able to multi-task, and is hyper organized. They are enthusiastic, energetic detail oriented, a problem solver, and a hardworking individual who has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in construction.

Pay: $58,350.00 - $142,074.00 per year
