HireQ is looking for a Procurement Contracts Manager for our client in Virginia Beach, this is a full-time direct hire opportunity with benefits.
Overview:
As the Procurement Contracts Manager you provide strong leadership, development, and management of purchasing operations related to procurement contracts/contract lifecycle management and departmental systems, coordinating closely with other department managers and directors. Drives procurement contracts quality, cost, and ease of use through planned review and industry-leading implementation and compliance management.
Responsibilities:
- Manages the needed goods and services agreements per sourcing strategies and makes recommendations to refine strategy and direction. In conjunction with other team members, conducts supplier selection to result in best value and price. Ensures all agreements align with industry standards and best practice and contain safe guards which clearly establish responsibility for the warranting of performance. Conducts compliance reviews for key pricing and performance terms, provides results and takes action when needed to correct.
- Provides effective oversight of routine Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) activity, and develops and executes projects to continuously improve the and automate the corporate CLM and Purchasing processes using LEAN principles. Coordinates and aligns contracting activity to Supplier Performance Management (SPM) processes and policies.
- Identifies and acts on opportunities for cost savings and cost containment within the contracting function. Develops and executes initiatives based on known opportunities from contract renewals, volume changes, market influence, and any other predictable triggers for potential savings. Leverages SAP/Ariba and other systems to optimize awareness of opportunities.
- Monitors contract performance and customer complaint information based on set criteria. Identifies and resolves systemic supplier management problems affecting availability or quality of goods and services and take action to address customer complaints. Provides reports as directed and coordinates with team to provide support for the Supplier Performance Management (SPM) process.
- Some travel may be required.

Pay: Up to $130,000.00 per year
