Job Summary:
Responsible for packing items on skids, keeping work area clean, labeling items, measuring the product and quality control of the items on the skids. Attention to detail, ability to organize items and efficient and careful not to damage items. Long term duties will include forklift responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:
The machine operator performs duties to set up and operate machines for assembly and roll conversion. Responsible for maintaining and housekeeping for the work area, maintaining all equipment to meet operational standards, complete production paperwork and follow all safety rules.
- Safely operates production machinery
- Manual lifting and palletization of finished goods / roll stock
- Minimum quantity output required
Work Skills and Education:
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Steel toes, safety glasses, and hearing protection are required. Weight can range from 10-50 lbs. to put on skid.
- Previous machine operation experience preferred
- Stable work history
- Must have good communication skills
- Must be self motivated, a strong team player, and able to work with a minimum of supervision
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
