Required Skills:-
- Extensive knowledge and experience in construction law from a general contractor or subcontractor perspective.
- Experienced in commercial construction laws.
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school and active good standing membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Office.
- 8 years of legal experience, in either law firm and/or in-house with substantial experience in construction law.
- Strong keyboarding skills with the ability to draft letters, contracts, and documents without the assistance of an assistant.
Preferred Skills:-
- Prior experience as in-house counsel or staff attorney.
- In addition to construction law, previous practice included OSHA regulations
- Speaking experience (CLE) in construction law as lead speaker or panel attorney.
- Published article in the area of construction law.
