Job Description :
- The Employee Relations Business Partner (ERBP) will contribute with both tactical and strategic support of our people managers and employees through performance management and workplace conflict issues to help create and maintain an innovative, high-performing, and inclusive culture.
- The ERBP will have a strong assessment of different types of risk and bring creative and effective ideas and solutions to a growing organization.
- What You’ll Do Provide Employee Relations support, thought partnership, and coaching for all employees and levels of management in the organization Proactively assess team and manager development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions Triage employee relations casework, identifying potential solutions to address different case types and propose appropriate next steps as the subject matter expert.
- Help balance risk, taking into account employee, business, and company perspectives.
- Help design and facilitate Manager Training based on case data from HRA Partner with HR Business Partners, Employment Law, Investigations, Learning & Development, and Talent Management teams to implement solutions and help scale the business Plan, execute, and evaluate complex casework that has an impact in the region or with the business groups supported Lead with integrity, respect, and high personal standards, and build personal credibility.
- Actively involved in interviewing and onboarding new employees to the Employee Relations team.
- Minimum Qualifications BS / BA degree required, with at least seven years relevant human resources experience, ideally focused on employee relations, employment law, or HRBP / People Partner experiences;
Masters or JD a plus Minimum five years of heavy emphasis on Employee and Labor Relations required Mastery of employment law basics and performance management best practices.
Demonstrated ability to translate data and predictive analytics into proactive actions for the organization to prevent or preempt unfavorable employee experience trends Excellent interpersonal skills, including high EQ, communication, and ability to build trust and influence at all levels of the organization;
quality decision making, problem solving, critical thinking and root cause / analysis skills Experience diffusing tension and effectively mediating conflict.
- Presentation and training facilitation experience Previous Tech / Startup experience a plus. An eye toward innovation Great communicator (written and oral)
- A phenomenal team player who knows how and when to collaborate to ensure success and is comfortable liaising with multiple levels of leadership, employment law, HRBPs, and other stakeholders to get things done;
- You are a problem solver with a strong bias for action that knows how to ask the right questions when you’re unsure;
- The position may require some light travel as needed.
