Hiring NWA is looking for a Quality Control Inspector in the Springdale, AR Area for the Sanitation Department on the second shift.
Job Description:
Will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of raw materials and components entering the manufacturing process and ensuring that finished products meet specified quality standards before they are released to customers. Conducting final inspections, testing, and verification to guarantee that products meet all quality requirements.
Inspect and test incoming raw materials and components
Use measurement tools and testing equipment to assess the quality of materials.
Must be able to document and report any deviations or non-conformities.
Collaborate with suppliers to address and resolve quality issues related to incoming materials.
Maintain accurate records of inspection results and communicate findings.
Conduct regular audits of suppliers to assess their quality management systems.
Assist in the development and improvement of incoming inspection procedures.
Responsibilities for Outgoing QC:
Conduct final inspections and tests on finished products
Use measurement tools and testing equipment to assess the overall quality of products.
Document and report any deviations or non-conformities to the quality assurance team and production management.
Collaborate with the production team to address and resolve quality issues before product release
Maintain accurate records of inspection results and compile reports for analysis.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality.
Verify that packaging and labeling meet specified requirements before shipment.
Coordinate with logistics and shipping teams to ensure accurate and timely product release.
Requirements:
Bilingual preferred but not requiered.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certifications in quality control is a plus.
Proven experience in outgoing quality control or a related field.
Familiarity with quality control tools, equipment, and techniques.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and analyze quality issues.
Excellent communication skills to effectively convey quality concerns and recommendations.
Knowledge of industry quality standards and regulations.
Proficient in using measurement tools and equipment.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Pay
$15.00 to $20.00 per hour DOE
Schedule:
M-F
3:30 pm to 12:30 am
