Payroll Specialist
Busy Automotive Group has an outstanding opportunity for a results-focused, highly driven and experienced Payroll Specialist. The Payroll Specialist is responsible for handling weekly payrolls, maintaining employee payroll records, coordinating with office managers to ensure employee benefits are paid, assisting with quarterly and annual tax verifications and submission, and providing support for some basic Human Resource and accounting functions.
Job Responsibilities
- Processes payroll transactions
- Processes Personnel Action Forms
- Processes Benefit Request Forms
- Maintains member receivables
- Ensures accurate coding of payroll transactions
- Identifies internal control issues by reviewing existing policies, verifying changes in authorized personnel, and communicating issues to the Assistant Controller/Payroll Manager
Job Qualifications:
- Prior ADP payroll experience is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- Experience with Reynolds or other dealership software is a PLUS
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have ability to multi-task
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Excel
