Summary of Responsibilities:
In this newly created role, the HR Business/Total Rewards Analyst will focus on people-related analytics, compensation and total rewards design/analysis and government-related reporting. The role will provide analysis, forecasting, modeling, compensation program design and ultimately execution for the ultimate goal of organizational effectiveness through improved business performance with an engaged workforce.

Primary Duties:
Compensation Analysis/Design: in partnership with HR senior leadership, will be responsible for the compensation reporting, analysis and administration, including a heavy focus on merit, bonus and incentive plan design/analysis and subsequent execution.
People-Related Analytics and Reporting: key point person responsible for producing all people/HR related analytics and reporting, through MS Excel and PowerBI. Examples include, but not limited to: pay range design/analysis, compensation/market reviews, turnover, cost per hire, days to fill, etc.
Data and Government/Regulatory Reporting: using the HRIS (UKG), this role will be responsible for producing all government related reporting, including EEO-1, 1095’s, as well as reporting for sales bid requests and more.
Talent Competencies Preferred:
- Excellent analytical, logical reasoning and organizational skills – must be able to assess complex problems by breaking them down into manageable parts, identifying interdependencies, and deliver recommendations / solutions
- Must have excellent communication, writing and facilitation skills demonstrated problem resolution skills
- The ability to recognize several likely causes of events or multiple consequences of actions, anticipate obstacles and think ahead about next steps
- The ability to work independently and as a member of the team to support team objectives and other team members
- Be resourceful and your own best teacher in a fast-paced environment, working with the IT and BI teams on creating solutions
- Advanced understanding of HR business/system processes and their dependencies; systems design experience a plus
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an HR Business OR Compensation analyst preferred
Work Experience and Skills Preferred:
- In-depth knowledge of UKG, HR business processes, functions and procedures
- Proficiency required in MS PowerBI and MS Excel
- Truckload transportation company experience preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration preferred or equivalent experience
- Ability to process information with high levels of accuracy and energy
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
- Computer proficiency and ability to navigate between multiple programs
- Demonstrates an "All In to Win" attitude and displays self-motivation and a strong desire to learn within an unpredictable and demanding environment
Location: Ideal candidate would be located in the Dubuque, Iowa or surrounding area. Well qualified candidates with extensive experience would be considered for remote/hybrid work arrangements.
