Hirschfeld Properties currently owns and manages a portfolio of premier apartment communities in central Maryland. Hirschfeld is seeking a skilled Leasing Representative to join our dynamic team at our Eagles Walk Apartment Homes community in Laurel, Maryland.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leasing Operations:
- Conduct property tours for prospective residents, highlighting the features and amenities of the community.
- Respond promptly to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits.
- Showcase available units and effectively communicate leasing terms and conditions.
- Process leasing applications, including verification of rental history, employment, and background checks.
- Negotiate lease terms and ensure accurate completion of lease agreements.
Customer Service:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective residents.
- Address resident concerns and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure prompt resolution of maintenance requests.
- Provide personalized assistance and guidance to residents throughout the leasing process.
Marketing and Outreach:
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract prospective residents.
- Utilize various advertising platforms and social media channels to promote available units and community events.
- Attend local networking events and build relationships with local businesses and organizations to generate leads.
Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, resident interactions, and rental payments.
- Prepare leasing reports and assist in analyzing market trends and competitor pricing.
- Assist in the preparation of leasing agreements, addendums, and renewal notices.
- Collaborate with the property management team to ensure compliance with leasing policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in property management, leasing, or customer service preferred.
- 1-2 Years Residential Multi-Family Property Management experience required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
- Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent
