- Position Objective: Responsible for loading, unloading and operating shotblasters while maintaining required quality standards in accordance with the production schedule.
4.) Functions:
4.1) General responsibilities
- Adherence to federal and local law regulations, internal policies and other applicable rules including ISO/TS 16949, ISO 18001 and ISO 16001 requirements
- Continuous improvement of work and activities

- Fulfilling thoroughly all tasks within the scope of defined qualifications and responsibilities

- Adherence to 5S principles
- Specific responsibilities:
- Setting up equipment in control panel to correspond with the specific job requirements
- Maintain production orders compliance to production tubs
- Performing quality audits and documenting findings
- Operation of forklift to increase productivity, whenever necessary
- Working with maintenance on regular preventative maintenance plans; responsible to do operator PM
- Responsible to maintain equipment and aera cleanliness
- Responsible to maintain correct production codes for MPDV
- Responsible to fill SAP notification for machine breakdown to notify maintenance department
- Communicate a progress report with prior and subsequent shifts
- Capable of following written and verbal instructions provided by shift supervision
- Maintaining and understanding material flow within the process
5.) Job profile:
- Education/training/certification: Education/training/certification:
- High School Diploma, basic knowledge of mechanical operations and basic communication skills
- Forklift certification
5.2) Experience:
- Previous experience with manufacturing environment is preferred
- Forklift experience required.
5.3) Technical knowledge:
- Knowledge of equipment operation, mfg techniques, and the ability to maintain equipment in billet prep
5.4) Equipment/clothing used to perform the job:
- Personal protective equipment in applicable areas (safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed shoes)
- access to HIT.

- Stand up lift
- Shot blaster
- Tilt tables
- Floor scales
- Authorizations:
- Stopping the production process in case of safety issue or in case of inadequate quality of produced components
- Access to HIT
5.6) Work environment/abilities: (95% indoor/5% outdoor). Needs to move between several machines and organize loading and unloading. The worker are subject to noise, dirt, dust, smoke, Chemical and moving machinery (Forklfit, cranes etc) and seasonal temp.
