Maintenance - Electrical Technician
Location: Columbus, US

At our plant in Columbus, Ohio/USA more than 300 employees manufacture automotive parts in large-series production by means of forging and machining.
Goal of the Establish Post
Responsible for the electrical maintenance and repairs of all process and facility equipment. This includes both internal and external components.
Must be proficient at the diagnosis and troubleshooting of electrical control circuits, Process Logic Controllers, Drive technologies, Frequency inverters, Power distribution as well as hydraulic, pneumatic & mechanical issues in a cost and time effective manner
Specific responsibilities
- Adherence to federal and local law regulations, internal policies and other applicable rules including ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001 and ISO 18001 requirements
- Continuous improvement of work and activities

- Timely and successful completion of Training Modules
- Diagnosis, maintenance, commissioning and improvement of electrical control systems, general equipment both facility and process
- Installation of machinery, equipment and auxiliaries
- Perform, maintain and improve preventative maintenance schedules and repairs including calibration of equipment and machinery in order to meet production requirements
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical control system components (115-960VAC & 5-24VDC) with use of electrical schematics, documentation, tools, meters and software
- Proficient in all aspects of equipment and facility operations
- Must follow all safety regulations and report any safety concerns and issues to supervision
- Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping as well as a clean & safe workplace
- Identifies and procures components as needed to maintain production and facilities
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Degree or Certification preferred
Experience:
- 5 years' previous maintenance experience in industrial manufacturing environment
- 5 years' experience in an electrical controls trade preferred
- 5 years' experience in automation technologies
Expertise:
- MS Office & SAP
- SIEMENS Step7 & TIA knowledge
- AC & DC circuits
- Variable Frequency Drives
- Power converters
- familiar with mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics

Pay:
- $25 to $30 per hour, based upon skill and experience
