World Wide Technology is seeking an Area Director to oversee and manage WWT's partner network in the USA. This individual provides guidance and leadership to the team on identifying, onboarding, managing quality and training of WWT's partners.

Responsibilities

  • Manages Americas Partner Management Team, creating goals, standards, and accountability measurements
  • Create and maintain necessary reports to track progress and partnership retention
  • Identify and provide necessary training and motivation to team members to adjust to changing approaches to a changing marketplace
  • Manage appropriate distribution of partners for team members
  • Establish and maintain relationships with strategic partners
  • Oversee and approve partner agreement negotiations
  • Identify needs for new programs and solution based on feedback from partners and team
  • Work with global and regional leadership to track and establish direction and growth strategies
  • Develop a strong team to provide technical leadership for the WWT partner community and drive partnered project success
  • Develop KPI and Metrics to track and record partner project success
  • Work closely with the national Engineering and Practice Teams to ensure delivery consistency and quality
  • Budget definition and ownership (Training, Travel, Headcount, tools, software, etc.)
  • Focused on working with Sales and Customer on High Performance Teamwork
  • Creates program and tracks KPI of partner management team's success in evaluating engineering talent from partners to meet staffing demands and ensuring each resource is competent in both Core Values and Technology
  • Assess and maintains partnered staff as an extension of the WWT Engineering team. Holding them to the same standards, training criteria and competencies as our internal engineers
  • Holds partners accountable for defects, tracks poor performing staff to ensure they are not reassigned to projects and programs and review with partner leadership real-time
  • Trains all partners on how to leverage our WWT resources, including the following Command Center, ATC, ServiceNow and other PS Methodologies
  • Is the Executive Leader of all Partner issues & challenges

Qualifications

  • 10 years leadership experience in running partner management teams
  • Extensive management experience, preferably in a Professional Services environment
  • Global partner management experience
  • Strong knowledge of and proven experience with leading both internal and partner engagements
  • Proven experience interacting with large, enterprise clients (preferable multi-site customers)
  • Prior experience managing engineering teams or technical staff
  • Documented track record of partner development
  • Strong customer service orientation with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and solve customer-facing problems
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Travel Requirements: Up to 25%
