TTS Operational Risk Reporting Hub Lead, SVP

This role will be part of Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) Global In-Business Operational Risk team and will be the lead person to manage a hub structure for operational risk reporting & analytics. The implementation of a hub structure strengthens risk identification and oversight processes through standardization, independence, consistency, and efficiency. This role will develop and manage a team in a Hub to centralize risk and control activities.

• Reporting & Analytics: Produce standard reports and governance forum decks (e.g., Business Risk and Control, BRCC) for operational risk and control topics across TTS products, regions, risk stripes and risk & control programs. Additionally, conduct risk-based analytics to identify common themes, concentration of risks and growing risks. The reporting and analytics hub will leverage data from various risk and control programs such as: Key Risk Indicators, Manager's Control Assessment (MCA), Issue Management, Operational Risk Events and Third-Party Management.

Main responsibilities

• Lead a team to meet the reporting and analytic needs of TTS risk and controls teams across regions and products
• Work closely with key stakeholders within TTS in business risk teams to define business needs and prioritize business needs as the evolve to support identification and monitoring of risk
• Leads the team to gather data, perform analytics, identify trends, root causes, produce standardized key indicators and metrics at Product and Regional levels
• Ability to understand, analyze, identify, and monitor risk and controls programs including but not limited to MCA, Issue Management, Third Party Management and Operational Losses & Near misses, New Product Approval, End User Computing etc.

• Ability to produce standardized governance decks at Global, Product and Regional levels that summarize results of reporting and providing analytics to identify and measure risks across TTS products and regions
• Understand and analyze various data sources to find patterns, identify trends, root cause, performance, thematic issues etc., and summarize results in reports with valuable business insights into risk and controls
• Perform analysis on key indicator and metric results and articulate the drivers of the results in a succinct manner that can be consumed by in business risk and senior management
• Use tableau to manipulate large datasets, facilitate analysis and produce dashboards and/or PowerPoint decks within a meaningful format to summarize results nimbly and efficiently
• Lead a team to produce standardized TTS governance reporting decks on a monthly and quarterly basis at a global and product/regional levels and per deadlines
• Develop reporting hub team skills to further progress reporting hub initiatives including Requirements gathering & understanding, effort estimation, report design, QC/QA, change management, continuous improvement, analytics
• Help identify areas where additional focus or controls are needed based upon monitoring of metrics
• Continuous monitoring of reporting and productivity to meet business needs
• Proactively drive innovation, facilitate change, work with stakeholders to continually enhance risk views and reporting

Qualifications

• 5-7 years experience leading and building teams
• 5-7 years of experience with data analytics and reporting tools, preferably Tableau, analytics in bigdata
• Experience in risk and controls processes or data (MCA, Citi Risk & Controls, Third Party, Loss Capture, ICAPs)
• Experience defining requirements & designing dashboards or summarizing data
• Skills in building PowerPoint decks
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
• Ability to work with stakeholders across multiple locations and countries to meet business needs, prioritize outcomes and resolve issues
• Demonstrated ability to produce deliverables on time
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
• Bachelor's degree. Masters preferred
