The Service Advisor works in a busy, fast paced environment. Writing up service orders and overseeing the day-to-day operations. You will be working with our customer base, mechanics, and our warranty administrators.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule, quote and assign work as required to run the Service Department as efficiently and profitably as possible. Follow up with customers as necessary.
- Communicate Kenworth warranty parameters and policies to customers as it applies to each service request.
- Work with Warranty Administrator to assure the timely and accurate filing of claims and jobs are completed with-in the labor guidelines payable by the O.E.M.
- Coordinate with Sales Department regarding the receipt and delivery of all trucks, assuring that proper procedures and paperwork policies are adhered to.
- Maintain shop safety with monthly inspection and safety policies.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to the Service Manager.
- Abides be the company Drug Free Policy.
- Additional duties may be added as needed.
