Description
Tasks:
- Perform one or more of the following operations in the manufacturing of an aluminum knuckle for automobiles:
- loading and unloading machines, visual inspection, packing totes, and printing labels
- After initial training, associate will be cross trained in more than one step of the process
- Use tools such as plug gauges, paint markers, and computer monitor
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
- Physical effort moving heavy materials
- Know and maintain production quantities & quality
- Check quality of products and parts to be used for production
- Other tasks as assigned

Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk 8 hrs; to use hands and fingers; handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms talk and/or hear; and withstand heated area.
- Requires repetitive lifting (>700 each shift) of weights up to 15 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.
