Overview:
Social Workers provide counseling related services which include Community Counseling, Marriage/Family Counseling/Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, Social Work, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, and Dance Therapy. They play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life and well-being of patients by providing support, information, and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling and therapy services to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
- Assess and understand the needs, strengths, and weaknesses of clients.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other professionals to assess client needs or plan treatments.
- Refer clients to community resources or specialists as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in social work or related field required.
- Completion of a practicum as part of the Master’s program.
- Experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and professionalism.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: From $43.00 per hour
