Responsibilities of Security Officer / Supervisors include, but are not limited to
- Provide excellent Customer Service
- Control access for visitors or vendors as required
- Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
- Maintain clear, accurate logs pertaining to people or property including packages
- Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and report on incidents.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications Of Security Officer / Supervisors
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1 year experience as a security officer or in a customer service, retail, hotel or restaurant position.
- Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements.
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50 lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Must be able to maintain a professional composure at all times.
Must be able to read, understand, and execute all post orders.
Must maintain a neat and professional appearance.
Must wear approved uniform completely and at all times.
Must be punctual, on-time, and maintain a satisfactory attendance record.
Must stay on post until properly relieved.
Must conduct patrols rounds as required by post orders.
Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in a neat and legible.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
The following are basic requirements for the position:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D. (copy will be required)
Must have minimum 20 hour security training.(copy will be required)
Must have current PERC card.(copy will be required)
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Must have a reliable means of communication (phone).
Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).
Must be able to communicate effectively in English (speak, read, and write).
As a condition of employment and/or continued employment, you must be able to pass an extensive background screening.
Where required, you must have a valid driver's license and driving record must meet company and insurance standards.
As a condition of employment and/or continued employment, you must be able to obtain and maintain state required licensing (PERC).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
At a minimum, Security Officers must be able to:
Stand on their feet and/or walk for lengthy periods of time (possibly entire shift (6-12 Hrs), depending on assignment).
Climb stairs and/or ramps occasionally during shift.
Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 lbs
Work in various environment, including adverse outdoor conditions such as cold, rain, or heat

Pay: Starting at $15.00- $17.per hour DOQ
