In this role, you will develop and create concepts, visual ideas, and produces multimedia for all forms of communication, advertising, promotional and corporate materials across different mediums: print, video, digital, and web/interactive. As Graphic Designer II, you’ll collaborate and assess the effectiveness of all imagery and presentation needs. Additionally, you will create online web graphics and landing page content.

What you will do in the position:
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Project Teams, and Executive Staff to plan, organize and execute graphic design elements.
- Develop and create graphic materials for social media, websites, sales/marketing collateral, e-mail, tradeshow graphics, digital and print ads, infographics, presentations, and other design projects as needed.
- Implement and establish brand guidelines and design standards for the company, evaluates final layouts, including illustrations, photography, text/copy, resolution standards, templates, file sizes, etc.
- Prepare final production-ready files and formats (print and digital) as required by printer or creative team.
- Organize and archive all final digital and printed files in the Digital Asset Management system.
- Manage multiple design projects, workflow, and fast-paced timelines to ensure work is delivered on time.
- Keen eye for clean, modern, on-trend layout designs that are cohesive, scalable, and flexible; periodically review assets and identify areas for improvement.
- Pro-actively communicate in order to gather necessary information for a successful design.
- Approximately 80% of the work is production; 20% creative.
- Perform all other job responsibilities as assigned.
What you will need to succeed in this position:
- Artistic Skills. Good eye for layout, type, and color. Can integrate supplied and/or stock photos and illustrations with text. Can organize fairly complex and chaotic source materials into simpler, integrated, coherent printed piece. Has an understanding of readability issues in typography. Can montage and edit photos attractively; decide when to use various effects. Some drawing skills. Photography and animation skills a plus.
- Creative Lead. A talent for creating unique and practical design elements—that are also effective (from a marketing standpoint). Aware of and looks for ways to implement latest graphic trends. Constantly looking for the latest ways to communicate visually.
- Technical, Computer-Graphic Skills. Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), PowerPoint and other current graphic design software.
- Communication. Good presentation skills to articulate design concept to marketing staff and/or senior management. Not afraid to ask questions or clarify project needs.
- Detail Oriented. Ability to manage multiple projects at once, organize priorities, and review work for typos and errors. Ability to keep track and meet deadlines.
- Experience with design for effective email marketing communications.
- Experience with HTML and CSS (bootstrap) design for websites (Wordpress). Coding experience a plus.
- Experience with managing Digital Asset Management systems; Bynder a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, ability to catch mistakes, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and suggest improvement as needed.
- Minimum of 4 years related experience
- Associates Degree – Required
- Bachelor's Degree in related field - Preferred
