- Manage IT Projects and initiatives geared towards IT systems implementation, integration, upgrades, and enhancements using client's SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) and PMLC (Project management Life Cycle) focusing on IT PMO processes, tools, templates, and guidelines.
- This work will involve creation of project plans, status reports, project charters, and other project management deliverables along with facilitating project meetings and discussions on a regular basis. Drive projects forward from Initiation to Closure using the Sciforma PPM tool and all other PM tools and templates as specified by the IT PMO.
- Communicate with project team members to track and monitor completion of tasks and deliverables against milestone dates.
- The IT PMs will proactively evaluate projects risks and ensure that mitigation plans are developed, communicated, implemented, monitored, and completed to ensure successful delivery of IT projects based on scope, deliverables, budgets, and timelines agreed in the project charter.
- The IT PM will also be responsible for adhering to client's IT CR (IT Change Requests) process involving raising, tracking, monitoring and Reporting an IT CR.
- Review and refine project plans, status reports, project charters, and other project management deliverables on a regular basis.
- Escalate as necessary to ensure compliance with IT PMO processes and guidelines.
Responsible to enter or provide data required to generate project management metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Co-ordination with On-Site Engineers and attending customer calls.
- Raising risks, issues and escalation to senior management and customer.
- To create all quality documents, collect metrics data and conducting Audits. To perform Value creation and KM activities.
- To create project plans and keep track of schedule for on time delivery as per the defined quality standards.
- To ensure process improvement and compliance, and participate in technical design discussion and to review technical documents.
