What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Analyst position at HMI Glass?
The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting, coordinating, analyzing and ad hoc reporting for the regional manufacturing facilities.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

ü Shall adhere to all safety, health and environmental procedures, policies and practices, and ensures that all equipment is in safe operating condition and meets or exceeds OSHA Standards.
ü Comply with all QMS / EMS procedures and work instructions as it pertains to the position description.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Prepare, review and distribute monthly financial reports.
2. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations as scheduled.
3. Coordinate financial questions/answers among the Plants.
4. Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly operating reports.
5. Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed.
6. Assist with the Sales & Cost model.
7. Responsible for cost accounting functions – standard rolls, overhead rates, etc.
8. Performs all other functions as required; included are any work assignments relating to the efficient flow of work within HMI Glass.
9. Support Plant Controller as required.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
§ Accounting/GAAP knowledge
§ Advanced/expert knowledge of Microsoft Office with a heavy emphasis on Excel (creation and use of complex formulas and functions, pivot table creation and maintenance, etc.)

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Note: Possession of a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required for all new hires in all positions.
§ Bachelor’s Degree in Finance required
§ 3 - 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
