Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree and six years of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Three years of supervisory or management experience.
- Effective communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of service coordination processes.
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Valid, unrestricted RN, LCSW, LSW, LMHC license issued by the state of Hawaii.
- Reliable transportation to perform in person (Face to Face) meetings or in alternative settings.
- Leadership
- Manages managers in the Integrated Health Management Services (IHMS) Department.
- Mentors and coaches staff, as needed, in order to achieve expected results and/or professional development goals.
- Collaborates with Managers in IHMS to recruit, hire, and maintain staff, while encouraging a culture of engagement, accountability, and innovation.
- Oversees and manages workflows to ensure that services and requests are handled consistently, effectively, and efficiently in order to minimize risks to members and the organization.
- Oversees and manages workflows to assure that contract compliance (QUEST, Medicare, commercial) is maintained related to IHMS.
- Conducts performance reviews and handles any related adjustments to salary or job description.
- Prepares and analyses reports summarizing operational and financial performance of the team.
- Works in collaboration with community partners (i.e., hospitals, physicians, nursing facilities, agencies, etc.) to assure that HMSA members receive services to maintain or improve health.
- Program Management and Strategy
- Works with leadership on strategy development to ensure maximum success for the IHMS department. Presents recommendations and leads discussions with all levels of management including SVP/EVP. Provides thought leadership and ad-hoc strategic advisement to Director. Leads key projects to drive the company's overall strategy for QUEST Integration.
- Structures work plans and project scope to deliver business impact on high priority issues.
- Guides quantitative analysis to drive business decision making by utilizing reports to determine staffing and operational adjustments.
- Supports the Quality Improvement department by assuring compliance with accreditation guidelines.
- Manages relationships with consultants/venders as needed to complete special projects.
- Performs all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned or directed.
Salary : $86,500 - $179,500
