What are the responsibilities and job description for the Panel Prep position at HMT Tank?
HMT is looking for a Welding Panel Prep Technician.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Running a 7"-9" grinder with a wire wheel to prep panel surface
- Assemble closures onto panel and help load and unload panels from fixture
- Ability to read blueprints and read a tape measure
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
- Shifts run 6:00am-2:30pm on 8 hour shift and 6:00am-4:30pm on 10 hour shift
Required Qualifications & Education
- High School Diploma/Equivalent
Additional certifications desired, but not required are:
- Experience as Welding Helper/Bullganger a plus
- Preferred Experience with power tools (grinder)
- Experience with 10K Forklift
- Good Attendance History
