What We Need:

We are hiring Director, IT ERP Solution & Operations to join our team. This position that will require someone to be on-site in our IT offices in Muscatine Iowa on a weekly basis.

Reporting to the Vice President, Business Transformation & ERP, the Director, IT ERP Solution & Operations is designed to serve as the overall leader of the quote to cash and corporate (finance, legal, HR) solutions, development, delivery, support, and IT operations supporting business capabilities that meet the needs of HNI.

This role collaborates directly with IT Business Relationship managers and other IT and/or business leaders to resolve short-term issues within Oracle EBS. This role also works to resolve medium-to-long-term issues by creating transparent and flexible IT solutions to monitor and manage our complex warehousing, manufacturing, logistics operations as well as corporate functions. Finally, this role and team will lead the migration from legacy Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion's applications.

What You Will Do:

• Act as a trusted technology leader, providing business units with guidance and strategic leadership on technology solutions for short- and medium-term issues.
• Collaborate with key IT members and leaders to support cross functional initiatives and explore IT efficiencies.
• Represent the IT technical team in planning sessions regarding quote to cash and corporate functions of HNI's business.
• Partner with the business and IT Leadership to build a 3-5-year roadmap.
• Support HNI's migration from Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion and other application platforms.
• Develop and maintain a technology roadmap which supports business needs, business requests, and IT delivery functions, ensuring successful adoption across functional areas.
• Manage progress against the roadmap by coordinating with cross-functional teams and partners.
• Analyze relevant information and present recommendations to senior leadership creating a shared vision of technology solutions that facilitate decision making.
• Be constantly aware of evolving solutions and technologies and their applicability to the business and IT portfolio.
• Develop new solutions (including new processes and policy changes, new system capabilities and/or configurations, as needed).
• Create and communicate solution overviews to technical and business leaders on a solution's direction and to gain consensus on the recommended solution approach.
• Support the development of business cases for IT investments needed to support the application architecture road map.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers relevant to solution development and support of Oracle ERP and other applications.
• Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and service quality in the context of our industry.

What You Have:

• 15 years of technical and/or functional experience in Oracle EBS and/or Oracle FUSION
• 10 years of leadership and management experience in IT build and run environments.
• A 4-year bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (Master's Degree preferred).
• 10 years of experience working with a U.S.-based, in-house, discrete, configure-to-order manufacturing company.
• Subject matter expertise in Oracle EBS Manufacturing, OTC, Logistics, Supply Chain Modules:
• Infor CPQ experience is preferred
• Experience in Project Management is strongly preferred
• Experience supporting business units in the discrete manufacturing sector.
