This opportunity entails being responsible for working with public agencies and private individuals to identify and value private property for public use or private projects. May perform various real estate appraisal or land acquisition functions.

What You'll Do:

• Writes appraisal reports, including the development of market analysis, highest and best use analysis, value analysis, and other conclusions essential to an appraisal of real property consistent with USPAP and State and Federal laws.

• Meets with property owners to discuss the proposed acquisitions and explain the appraisal and acquisition process for right of way projects.

• Works with design engineers and staff, review right of way plats, and interprets construction plans.

• Provides (at minimum) weekly updates to land acquisition manager for projects.

• May work with Appraiser I's on reports.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

• Associate's degree and 3 years of relevant experience

What We Prefer:

• Bachelor's degree

• Certified General or Certified Residential appraiser
