Summary

This position will oversee daily project management activities regarding projects developed by the Ho-Chunk Capital division. Projects will vary in scale and scope but will generally include internal business process improvements and/or oversight of real estate-based projects. This position will be responsible for developing defined project management processes and systems that help the company efficiently and effectively complete the defined projects.

Essential Functions

  • Determine and define project scope and objectives.
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Prepare a Detailed Project Plan including task timelines utilizing approved project management system.
  • Oversee the Project Plan to ensure all necessary resources are aligned in a sequential and timely manner to meet project timelines and objectives.
  • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements and submit to CEO of Ho-Chunk Capital for review and approval.
  • Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
  • Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
  • Assembles members of organization (supervisory, clerical, and other workers) at start of project.
  • Inspects work in progress to ensure that work conforms to specifications and that schedules are adhered to.
  • Understand and follow company chain of command and reporting methods.
  • Retain and apply what is learned as it applies to the next skill level.
  • Regularly attend company training sessions.
  • Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
  • Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.
  • Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
  • Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients.
  • Identifying and developing new opportunities with clients.
  • Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables.
  • Managing customer satisfaction within the project transition period.
  • Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must also occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and color vision.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

Travel is required during the business day, out-of-area and overnight travel to be expected.

Experience

  • Five or more years of experience in a related area preferred.
  • Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time, must be able to regularly lift at least 25 pounds.
  • Able to perform job duties with no supervision.
  • Advanced understanding of real estate practices.
  • Communicate skill both verbal and written

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a related field required. Project management experience preferred.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Maintains a valid Driver’s License and be insurable under company insurance provider/program

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
