Job Description - Overview
Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc., a privately-held company based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is looking for a qualified individual to fill a Treasury Manager position. This is a full-time position located in the Corporate Offices at SW 44th and Council. No relocation assistance is offered with this position.
The Treasury Manager is responsible for the oversight of cash requirements, cash concentration and short-term cash investments. They direct and manage both day-to-day treasury operations and the long-term financial strategy. This includes department reports, cash flow analysis, credit agreement compliance and projections. The Treasury Manager also oversees banking structure and relationships, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring compliance with company and audit standards. This position reports to the AVP-Audit & Treasury.
Responsibilities
The Treasury Manager is responsible for the oversight of cash requirements, cash concentration and short-term cash investments. The Treasury Manager also oversees banking structure and relationships, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring compliance with company and audit standards. This position reports to the AVP-Audit & Treasury.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall direction and coordination of the treasury department and its operational policies.
- Develop and oversee financial and cash flow forecasts. Prepare ad hoc analysis and reports, as requested.
- Participate in credit agreement negotiation and oversee credit agreement compliance and projections.
- Manage all cash management functions including daily cash reporting, bank wires, store to bank reconciliation and account administration.
- Maintain strong bank and cross-departmental relationships.
- Implement new bank technologies, products, and services to enhance operational efficiency, while minimizing risk and costs.
- Demonstrate leadership and training skills to develop analysts within the department.
Job Description - Requirements
- 8 years’ experience in corporate treasury or related field
- In-depth and broad expertise in a variety of treasury operations including cash management, cash-flow forecasting, commercial banking products and associated rules/regulations
- Familiarity with the structure of BAI, 822, and electronic payment files
- Experience preparing reports and presentations for executive leadership
- Experience with executing RFPs and negotiating contracts (e.g. Armored Courier Contract)
- Experience with retail, ReconNet or Smart Safes preferred
- High level of proficiency in MS Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel
- Excellent written, communication and quantitative skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize with a high level of attention to detail
