What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Order Picker position at Hodge?
Join the HODGE Warehouse Team in Eldridge, IA As an Order Picker, you'll be responsible for retrieving parts from the warehouse racks, in the correct quantity, requested container type, and placing in the appropriate location for shipment to assembly. This role is crucial to supporting the operation and making sure our customer receives their material accurately, on time, the first time!

Here we focus on receiving, repacking, and storing material from a global supply base. When our customer needs the parts, we safely and efficiently pick the parts using heavy industrial equipment and ship it to them just-in-time.

Full-time hours available:
- 3rd Shift (9:30 pm- 6:00 am) overtime as needed
What You'll Do
- Assist in overseeing daily order fulfillment activities
- Pick, pack & ship all requested items in a timely manner
- Prioritize work to address the most urgent/critical items first
- Demonstrate teamwork with fellow employees
- Comply with all OSHA and site-specific safety & PPE requirements
- Work toward continuous improvement
- Stay current with changing technology
- Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures
What You Need
- An awesome attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- High School Diploma, GED or continuing education preferred
- Cherry Picker experience highly desired, but on the job, training provided!
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Tools)
- RF Scan gun experience a plus
