Graphic Designer - Entry Level

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for ensuring a consistent brand message and visuals are being distributed firm wide. They will work with marketing, business development, studio leaders and principals throughout the company to design, strategize, develop and implement tactics, tools and initiatives that support the firm's business development, client relations and employee engagement initiatives. The position requires adherence to best practices in branding, marketing, multi-channel communications and project management. Work assignments are deadline-driven and will include design, marketing, communications and strategy.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design

• Conduct research to inform design concept decisions.
• Transforms complex ideas and processes into graphic representations, telling a visual story.
• Develop final files for production and implementation.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and technology.
• Help ensure a consistent HW brand is being represented. Attention to detail is needed to ensure adherence to strategic vision, brand standards and messaging.
• Work with studio leads to develop materials to promote their studio, print, digital, ect.

• Proposals & Presentations

• Assist with cover designs, infographics and layout design.
• Design and develop materials for client interviews.
• Review and add consistent design value to PowerPoint presentations.

• Marketing & Communications

• Develop, design and produce campaign collateral for print and/or digital distribution.
• Design and develop on-brand collateral materials for industry events, including presentations, signage, displays and exhibits.
• Coordinate photo shoots with project managers.
• Assist in coordinating social media presence across all channels in conjunction with the team and with full regard for corporate social media strategy.
• Assist in promotion of community-based events, employee engagement initiatives and other non-industry events and activities.
• Contribute to the overall marketing communication strategy and special web design projects.

Job Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience

• B.A. or B.S. in graphic design, marketing, mass communications, journalism or related field is preferred.

Candidate must have solid verbal and written communication skills, organizational and multi-tasking skills, and the ability to effectively meet deadlines. • Demonstrated experience in Adobe Creative Suite, with mastery of InDesign.
• Strong graphic design skills, with an emphasis on layout design.
• Superior organizational, written, verbal and visual communication skills, with a focus on team success.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, while keeping track of projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with different personality types.
• Works well under pressure with multiple tasks and deadlines.
