Education/Experience:
Bachelors or Masters degree in the field of Interior Architecture or Interior Design. 8 years of relevant commercial and healthcare furniture specification experience is desired. A creative design portfolio is required.
Certifications: NCIDQ certification or architectural registration is preferred
Qualifications/Skills:
Candidate must be proficient in Revit, and other computer design programs such as InDesign, Photoshop, Sketchup a 3D rendering are desired. AutoCAD knowledge preferred. Must have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere, meet deadlines, and have strong knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, material application and manufacturer-suppler appropriateness.
Skilled at: Excellent verbal, written, graphic and management skills required. Must be able to persuade and motivate others to adopt action conforming to specific objectives in matters of importance to individual’s project responsibility.
- Ability to demonstrate effective communication and leadership skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to confidently and decisively take action
- Familiarity with Sustainable Design guidelines is preferred
- Substantial knowledge of interior design required.
