What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant - Now Hiring position at Hoffman Car Wash Inc.?
Hoffman Development Corporation is seeking an Accountant to become an integral part of our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s in accounting and two to five years of prior finance & accounting work experience with General Ledgers, A/R and A/P and Bank Reconciliations. Previous experience supervising staff would be preferred.
The Accountant is responsible:
- Providing daily direction and management to two staff members.
- Oversee the daily accounting transactions for various Hoffman Car Wash companies
- Monitor internal controls
- Investigate discrepancies with bank transactions and POS systems
- Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances
- Manage the accounting for fixed asset additions and depreciation
- Reconcile company credit card and processing of timely payment
- Coordinating of monthly financial close including but not limited to: preparation of journal entries, bank reconciliations, and account reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of financial statement and analysis
- Assist in preparation of schedules for financial audit, income tax return and other information return purposes
- Write and modify reports in Sage intelligence reporting
- Assist in the 1099 reporting process
