IT Specialist

The IT Specialist provides expertise and support to ensure the IT Department and IT functions within the overall business run effectively and efficiently. Responsibilities also include a variety of administrative tasks such as vendor coordination, IT project management, and IT inventory management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, communications systems, hardware, and software. Support responsibilities are shared with other IT staff and managed services providers.
• Manages software licenses, software subscriptions, hardware maintenance contracts, and the like.
• Maintains data related to IT systems that requires manual upkeep.
• Handles various data collection/analysis/reporting activities.
• Helps with SQL Server administration.
• Provides business application software support (learned over time).
• Must be able to travel to all Hogue facilities to work on projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS degree in a related area or equivalent work experience.
• At least 3 years of work experience in an IT support position, preferably manufacturing.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Project, Visio, and Outlook preferred.
• Experience creating Visio diagrams and Asana project plans is a plus.
• Strong ability to multitask and prioritize workflow.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Experience with SQL Server, on-premise ERP systems, and/or Magento eCommerce software is desirable.
• Deep knowledge of Windows server and PC operating systems.
• Information security– Familiarity with information security practices and procedures to protect company data from intrusion or corruption.

• Pass Medical physical and drug pre-employment screening.
• Cleared Federal Criminal Background Check; our business maintains an ATF permit.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
