Lead by example, supervise staff in a courteous, professional and respectful manner
Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs
Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, the appearance of facility, sanitation, and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment
Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, orders, and reports in an organized and timely manner
Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with Pokemoto policies and procedures
Placing orders (if needed) for produce, food, laundry service and all other supplies and/or operations necessary for the everyday running of the store
Ensure that all products are received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are performed in accordance with receiving policies and procedures
Be knowledgeable of store policies regarding personnel and proactively communicate to the General Manager all violations of company policies, rules and procedures
Utilize Paycom scheduling system to accurately schedule staff in order to maximize guest service while minimizing labor costs.
Guest Services
Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times
Fill in as/where needed to ensure high quality guest service standards and efficient operations
Food Safety
Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared according to Pokemoto’s recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards to control food costs
Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the preventative maintenance programs and promptly report any concerns/issues to an owner
Requirements
Possess excellent basic math skills and the ability to operate the POS system
Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees, and guests
Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of the restaurant’s trading area
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
Be able to stand, reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
