What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Associate position at HOLBROOK PLASTIC PIPE SUPPLY, INC.?
Holbrook Plastic Pipe Supply, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate that is highly organized, self-motivated, with a resourceful “can do” work style to fill an immediate position. We are registered with several entities that allows us to view and competitively bid both state and federal projects. We have a walk up POS counter area for sales with a pick up area.
If you are self-motivated, dedicated and can provide phenomenal customer service this is the position for you! We will train on our in-house technology systems. Responsibilities Share responsibility and management of an existing customer base and key accounts to determine their needs, ensuring our customer service standards are always maintained providing timely quotations and order processing Identify potential new customers and projects providing timely quotations and order processing Develop and maintain relationships with vendor base developing a knowledge and cohesiveness from beginning to end of the industry Maintain up-to-date customer information within our DDI database system Continually improve sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional image within the industry at times teaming up with co-workers for alignment. Pleasant demeaner for phone sales Basic computer skills necessary (PC platform using Microsoft Office others) Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options Process POS (point of sale) purchases Cross sell products Handle returns of merchandise We Are Looking for Individuals With: Industry related sales experience optimal as a retail/sales representative or similar role Results oriented, self-motivated, able to complete tasks in a timely manner while building relationships and enjoying a team environment Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices Working knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements Excellent Math Skills Track record of over-achieving sales quota Hands-on experience with POS transactions Familiarity with inventory procedures A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; time management and organizational abilities.
High school degree; BS degree in Marketing or related field would be a plus.
